Jessica Lala, coach and consultant

Meet Jessica

Jessica is from South Bend, Indiana where she has lived for the past 26 years. She is a life coach and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the course of the last year she has fallen in love with Life Coaching which has created space for her to better use the gifts she has been given. This change has allowed her to better focus working with first responder departments to create and maintain Peer Support programs and on assisting women in the “now what” stage of life. She has a focus of helping them create practical ways to manage a change in their life, either due to their own choices or something beyond their control. This often includes helping an individual utilize their faith beliefs in order to move on to the next stage of life.

Over the course of her career Jessica has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer, Director of Therapeutic Foster Care, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with her own private practice, and completing assessments at the local psychiatric hospital. She has done extensive teaching at the collegiate level and also with in situations with foster parents, first responders, and other corporate trainings. She has provided training for first responders for over 5 years and has also developed and led a number of staff development trainings that address mental health issues. Jessica has both the basic and advanced certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

In her personal life, Jessica is married for 19 years to her husband Tony who is a local musician. They have 3 dogs and 2 cats that take up a lot of their attention. When she is not working she is often found reading a book, knitting, or helping her husband prepare for a gig.
